Today I'd like to introduce you to my friend Kelli. She's not just a wife, but she's a pastor's wife, homeschooling mom to 4 adorable children, foster parent, blogger, and STILL finds time to minister to the ladies in her church (including me). Kelli's got a super creative brain- from cooking up yummy dishes, involving kids in everyday life, to remodeling an old farmhouse.
She's also a professional blogger- and we took the chance to create some new headshots during her family session. You can check out her blog, Eat Pray Read Love, here.
Kelli has recently become a consultant for Young Living Essential Oils and gave me this great recipe for a sugar body scrub! I'm so excited to share it with you and I'll be trying it ASAP too.
Relaxing body scrub
1/4 cup coconut oil,melted
1.5 cups sugar
10 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops chamomile essential oil, optional
Mix in a medium bowl. Put into a clean jar with a lid. Use within one week at room temperature or keep indefinitely in the refrigerator. Enjoy! (If mixture hardens, just scoop out with your fingers and rub in your skin. Your body heat will melt it back to the right consistency.
Check out her beautiful family! She and Ben have 4 loving children and they foster several more. The love that they have for people is incredible, and it shows. (Did I mention they picked their gorgeous backyard for our location?).
Kelli reviews, "She was very patient and kind with our 4 children and the photos turned out beautifully. Thank you Lesley!"
